New Memberships & RenewalsYour membership dollars will help the SPCA do many great things. It will help place cats and dogs into very special and loving homes after they have been spayed or neutered, heartworm and health checked, and vaccinated. They also have a complete behavioral assessment and receive basic training before being placed for adoption. Your membership fees supply the food, cleaning supplies and litter that are used to keep our animals clean and healthy. Your membership also helps to educate our young people by supporting 4-H and school classroom programs that send young people to the shelter to learn to care for animals and the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. The results of this are two-fold. The animals get much needed love, care and socialization, and the young people learn invaluable skills that will help them later in life. The Shelter also helps other members of our community by providing study materials and animal education to students who home-school, used medical equipment such as wheel chairs and walkers to senior citizens, and clothes and housekeeping items to victims of fires or other catastrophic events.
