Adopt a homeless animal, and you will have a best friend for life. We encourage anyone wanting to adopt to visit our shelter.

Shelter hours for pet adoptions are from 10 AM to 3 PM Tuesday through Saturday. We will be closed on Sunday and Monday. This is also a reminder that during very bad weather, snow storms or floods, the shelter may not be open. Call ahead to confirm opening. Our yard sale to benefit homeless animals opens at 8 AM at the shelter.

Adoption costs include a general health assessment, spaying or neutering, and shots.

Before you adopt: Do you have the right home and environment for a new best friend? Not sure what size pet is right for you? Are you able to give a pet the love, care, and companionship it needs? Do you have a safe, fenced area for your pet? Do you have small children? Do you live in an apartment?
